I consider myself to be a very tolerant person. I tend to keep my mouth shut when it comes to things that might offend, but I have my limits and this is driving me nuts…what would be a considerate and respectful way to approach this: My sister in law is basically a mooch in every sense of the word. She is a single mother, and I understand that some people are in need of our welfare system, but she abuses it! She has a college education and is very capable of supporting her family. She works for cash, so it looks like she has little or no income. At the same time, she collects food stamps and a welfare check along with her child support. She brags about the fact that she goes into charity organizations and “makes a killing” with all of her free food and clothes for her kids and it doesn’t cost her a dime! She tells me that she basically has the welfare system down to a tee and knows exactly how to get everything from free rent to utilities paid for. It really irritates me!
